Traditionally, Pure Coconut Oil is used for healthy skin & hair for the whole family. Coconut Oil is versatile in cooking & included in a balanced diet, can be regarded as a general aid in well being because of its ability to assist in repelling bugs & microbes.  The fats found in Coconut Oil are the most similar thing in nature, analogous to the immune promoting fats found in human breast milk. 

In the pure form, this oil is especially great for:
  • Nursing mothers/ babies & children - can apply Coconut Oil to their whole body, particularly during pregnancy and after to assist with comfortable breastfeeding.  It is totally safe too then for baby to ingest. Massaging baby after bath is most beneficial, particularly when trying to release cradle cap; improving strength in the legs; improving blood flow and relaxing baby before sleep.  Using Coconut Oil on babies and young children after bath daily, gives them an appreciation and understanding  that regular application promotes strong, resilient skin.
  • Adults - It is the safest Oil to use for adults as well.  Feeding the skin is not something everyone is taught to do.  If Coconut Oil promotes healing, then as a medicine there is a time for it's use and that is after bath when the skin is clean and warm. Most certainly able to assist as an all natural lubricant but definitely not to be applied for sunbathing.  
  • Cooking -  It is very heat sensitive and so only moderate heat levels are needed. It is a truly fine oil in texture & although a saturated fat it is easy to understand how it can be absorbed quickly in baking, frying or roasting. Most saturated fats are long chain fats making their Oil thick and likely to collects on artery walls around the body raising cholesterol, however, Coconut Oil is a saturated fat but with the beneficial medium chain fats that are much finer and go straight to the organs as an alternative fuel.  Can be included in any baking, frying, porridge, smoothies and even warm drinks.
  • Oil Pulling - Troubling teeth & gums, try "oil pulling" with Pure Coconut Oil. This is an Ayurvedic treatment that addresses toxins held in the gums. Slooshing a tablespoon of Pure Oil around the mouth for 15-20mins and then spitting out, can bring near immediate relief.
It's important to note that our Coconut Oil is processed using a fermentation stage and utilising too the beautiful 'kernel'. Both these features set our Oil apart from most, as we believe these elements add benefits to our final product.
